Honored to be part of Comedy Sportz’s Women in Comedy Festival. I’ll be performing with my all-girl improv team Big Guys with Glasses. All proceeds go towards RAINN, the largest anti-sexual assault organization in the U.S.
2015 was a rough year for women in comedy, but also a great opportunity for us to come together and fight back. Join us for a night where we celebrate our grit!

Got new headshots by the wonderful Alonya Eisenberg of Jozu Photography! Alonya made sure the whole experience was fun and goofy, I just felt like smiling and giggling the whole time. Shooting outside with natural lighting was also a plus, get that sunshine.

Hair and makeup by the talented Sung Park. Her studio is located in a weird nondescript building in Ktown. I had a hard time finding it because there’s not much numbering, the front door is locked, and the only way in is from the back. But I guess the effort I put into tracking her down was like an adventure and the prize was my first experience with a full set of false eyelashes. Like, individual eyelashes that she painstakingly put on with tweezers. Can’t believe some girls do this EVERY day. Isn’t Sung cute? Highly recommend her if you speak Korean and like kdramas.

Excited to finally be part of the Film Fatales! This global network of female directors is all about supporting each other, sharing resources, and mentorship. How epic is that? It’s about as epic as being in the same room as Catherine Hardwicke!

My film, The Purgation, got picked up by Redbox for a test run. This is JUST A TEST RUN to see how much public interest there is for my amazing horror movie, so I have no idea which Redboxes will be carrying the film. Please let me know if you see it! =)

Directed two pilots for Maker Studios. Really love how professional yet fun everyone on crew is. Such a chill place to work. If you’re going to log 15 hour shoot days, this is the place to do it!

Directed the beautiful and talented workout guru Tiffany Rothe. She’s fit. I’m not, and have to wear three layers of clothing to stay warm in 60 degree weather.

I’m part of a featured show at Westside Comedy Theater called Improv Diary-uh. Three volunteers come up to read a super-embarrassing passage from their diary, and then we improvise scenes based off their life. It’s cathartic, eye-opening, and not to be missed!

My film The Purgation will be screening in Chicago on Sunday, Dec 6th as part of the Chicago ParaCon and Film Festival.

For the last month I’ve been looking for a distributor for the horror movie I directed, The Purgation. On Thursday, I signed an agreement with Osiris Entertainment to send my indie baby out to the universe. Next stop, working on deliverables. Huzzah!
