Spent the weekend veejaying for KPOP-TV. You can read all about it on my kdrama blog KoreanDaydreamer. Was impressed by the work ethic of all the bands that performed. Korean celebrities have the craziest schedules, considering that they’re often flying all over Asia to promote their albums. And most Kpop singers are also actors, which means they’re subject to grueling kdrama shoot schedules. Apparently it’s standard to shoot for 15-18 hours a day when you’re on a kdrama production. Crew and talent will literally sleep in their cars and get back on set. Not the safest way to film (and it has led to several car accidents where talent gets injured) but props to them all for their strong commitment to spreading the Korean wave.
